I don't know how it came to be, but I bought an Icelandic regen. When he transfered to my club, he "exists" twice (there are two of him; see attached picture). I cannot register him for tournaments, because when I assign him a number (i.e. 18), I'll have to register the other same copy of him. If I also grant this copy of him the same jersey number, the original one loses his number. And thus it tells me that I still have to assign numbers to players before proceeding to a match. I can move them independently between squads. One can be in the senior squad and the other can be at my affiliate/second squad/reserve squad or u19.
When I offer him out for loans, nobody bids and it says "two players failed to attract bidders" or however it is phrased, and then mention that either copy of the player failed to attract interest.
