The champions of the Argentina league and league cup are not being recorded.
For some reason, the game considers the top team of the overall table to be the champion. In reality, there are two champions per year. First, the league champions is the team that wins the league regular 27 game season. Then, the league cup champions is the team that wins the league cup final. There is nothing wrong with the format in game but it just doesn't record the champions at all. This is a critical issue because there would be nothing worse for a save than not having your trophies recorded correctly.
To rectify this, the game should use a system similar to other South American countries with an 'Opening Stage' and 'Closing Stage' in the past winners except the stages would be 'Premier Division' and 'League Cup' (presumably the game will have to use generic unlicensed names)
Another important point: The past winners in real life of the League Cup will also need to be added into the past winners. These clubs have the league cup in their club honours but it cannot be seen anywhere else. Make sure not to duplicate their title wins when adding them to the past winners under the new system where the league cup is no longer a separate competition in game.
2020 = Champion: Boca, Runner Up: Banfield
2021 - Champion: Colon, Runner Up: Racing
2022 - Champion: Boca, Runner Up: TIgre
