Copa Libertadores x Northeast Cup calendar

Is this way because the game can handle with the calendar if team play the both competition. If you gonna see the CBF oficial callendar for 2024 all 'Copa do Nordeste' date are in Libertadores/Sudamericana/Copa do Brasil dates spaces, in real life the federation adapt a callendar for every year but in FM is the same 'forever'

It's funny that this doesn't happen in the South American Cup

They set this like that way back when Sport was doing well and a director said that a Northeastern club wouldn't play in the Copa do Nordeste with they qualified to Libertadores, because of fixture congestion. Sudamericana was played in the second semester back then so no issue.

Then Fortaleza played in Libertadores and Copa do Nordeste (and a busy state championship). They keep on not updating in-game.

Like a said is not so simple, the callendar in FM is "forever" so is possible like 9 teams from Northest play the Libertadores in some savegame, image have to manage all the possibilities. Because of it a lot of states leagues are simplificated too with less matches.

I used the editor to list two clubs in the northeast with great players. They qualified for the Libertadores Cup the following year but were left out of the Northeast Cup (in the first year they competed).

In the first year, Fortaleza competed in the Northeast Cup and the Libertadores Cup, but in the second year only the Libertadores Cup. Bahia played in the Northeast Cup in the first year and in the second only the Libertadores Cup.
