Description of issue
In the 2027-28 season, the FA Cup third round is scheduled for 1 January and the fourth round on 22 January. In the real world, dates for these rounds have never been so early. It would be better to have them on 8 and 29 January. Does the scheduling algorithm always take dates of all events earlier while still on the same day of the week or are the dates ever later than in the previous season? I know that FA Cup dates will change for the next year but this game does not know that, and in the real world, the FA Cup third round has been scheduled on a Saturday between 2 and 8 January, and the fourth round three weeks after that. And if this continues to move them earlier, then in the 2028-29 season, the third round would be on 30 December, and the fourth round on 20 January. In the real world, 6 and 27 January would be better dates. And this game has all the rules as they were in the 2023-24 season, but are there ever random rule changes such as division sizes and scheduling throughout the game? For example, if the Premier League decided to increase to 22 teams, or the Danish Superliga to 14 teams and back to the format used until 2020? And because in 2023-24 season, League One, League Two and National League all ended one week earlier than normal, in all my seasons they end one week earlier than in real-world seasons with same calendars. For example, in 2027-28 season, League One and League Two end on 22 April and National League on 15 April, which is too early. Hopefully this does not eventually take dates as off as possible if one plays in for about 30 seasons (e.g. FA Cup third round would be in mid-December and League One and League Two season would start in mid-July and end in early April).
