  • Europa League spot going to the Cup winner rather than League position

    Description of issue

    Ireland's qualification places have massively improved to the point where they now have 1 qualifying spot for the Europa league and two for the ECL. However, at the end of the season, I noticed that the higher place Europa League spot is going to the cup winner, while the ECL places go to 2nd and 3rd in the League. 

    I was of the opinion that if they gain extra spots or increase in ranking, the Europa league spot would go to 2nd int he league and the ECL would go to 3rd and the Cup winner or 4th if the Cup is won by a team taking a league spot.

    Really sorry for the length in delay to get you a response, but we've got this on our radar now and are investigating.
