Just a small thing that I've noticed hasn't been picked up and was also in recent versions.
The current format of the League Cup is that the 5 teams competing in Europe get a bye into the knockout stage of the competition and are then joined by the 8 group winners and 3 best runners up. This seems correctly coded.
What is not in the game however is that the 5 teams who get a bye are seeded in the last 16 draw alongside the 3 best performing group winners. I think this is an important dynamic in the competition that should be replicated as it does give an incentive for teams to finish the group strongly.
