Description of issue

Hello.

Ive had a weird couple of years of youth intakes, with my star players always being foreign in Deportivo.

My last batch of wonderkids to come through were Cuban and American. My American player, albeit needing thousands of days, is working his way towards a citizenship.

HOWEVER.

My Cuban left-back is not. He is homegrown in all categories, club, nation, all age classes.

But he's not gaining progress towards citizenship.

Am i stuck with my best academy graduate so far counting as a foreign player forever?

And in that case, what would be the reason for that.

Is there some sort of rule working against Cuban nationals?

As a sidenote. Please make my players stop complaining they're not getting enough playtime when they're playing every single game of a season.

Hello, Cuba is one of the world nations which does not allow dual citizenship.
