  • World Cup 2026 group locations wrong

    Description of issue

    At the 2026 World Cup, Group B has Canada at it's helm (nice work) but the games are still played in the US. Same with Mexico in Group C. This is surely an oversight, the whole point of them being seeded there is that they'll get at LEAST one home game (Canada for sure).

    Meanwhile the US' Group A games are at BMO Field (in Toronto) and Azteca (twice)!

    Either use "specific stadium" for those groups or line up the stadia under "stadium pool" so that they appear where they should (make sure "randomize" is active and unchecked)

    Hi, 

     

    I am using 24.2 and I also got that USA is playing all there games in Mexico.  I have uploaded the game under Wrexham-England World Cup Stadium Issues.

    Yeah they just got randomly picked in one of the groups and it happened to be the one in Mexico. The devs have at least got a group in Mexico, a group in Canada, etc, but the hosts don't get locked in there.

    The co-hosting thing might be making it harder, hopefully this is something they look at
