Can't continue the match an with injured player on the pitch after a highlight

To check, I presume the button on the top right wasn't clickable?

We are aware of this issue and investigating but still gathering information. 

Yes, it was kind of clickable, showing this message. While I am out of the message box, the game does not proceed simply to get the kick off (after the goal). I believe the "X" button broke, with it working we would've been able to cancel the conducted tactical changes and replace the injured player or accept a 10-man squad.

It is clearly NOT fixed. Nonetheless how to escape the glitch is quite simple; just press your backspace button

Having check this status of this bug, it is something our team is still looking into.

Unfortunately, I had to exit the game midway as I didnt know what to do then.

I have a a bit simmilar issue, when you play a save, where you use multiple manager profiles and a player gets an injury, that auto pauses the game and forces you to take him off, if you play against another one of your profiles, the buttons (the  on the top right stop working and you cannot continue the game. Also instead of the button with the 2 vertical lines as pause button, there is now one with the word pause in it, like you were an observer instead of a manager. As Note though I have 3 manager profiles active in that save.

Thanks for raising this, but there's not much we can do as we have no more updates coming to FM24 and this is an extremely rare scenario to encounter. (Playing yourself as two different managers)

But this should should be indirectly solved by the UI changes coming into FM25.
