    Description of issue

Hi we set up our multiplayer game on the 27th October, played for about 4/5 hours and was fine. We took a 3 hour break & resumed about 21:00 BST, since then we consistently get Disconnected from host error message ever few games at max. As we don't seem to be dropping on our internet either side or on steam, assuming it's a bug of sorts.

Seems to have been an issue on at least the last few games from searching forums? Is there no way to troubleshoot or any idea whats going on if its happened across multiple editions

Hello everyone, can you please start an online game, wait for the issue to happen. Once its happened can both users close down the game and then send us your logs, named properly with a save attached.

Instructions how can be found below:

    On PC:

In explorer type %localappdata% and press enter
Click on the folder sports interactive
Click on the folder [Football Manager title]
    Click on the folder logs
Copy these two logs DISTRIBUTION_EPIC_CHANNEL and MATCHMAKING_EPIC_CHANNEL
Add you name to these logs for example “MATCHMAKING_EPIC_CHANNEL john smith”
Attach these logs with any network issue along with your save, images or videos

    On Mac:

At the top of your screen click on go
    Hold down the Alt key
    Click on library
Click Application Support ->Sports Interactive -> [Football Manager title] -> Logs
Copy these two logs “DISTRIBUTION_EPIC_CHANNEL” and “MATCHMAKING_EPIC_CHANNEL”
Add you name to these logs for example “MATCHMAKING_EPIC_CHANNEL john smith”
Attach these logs with any network issue along with your save, images or videos

    Hello, @flame3005

We have sent your logs and they under investigation. Can we ask for some more information:

What region are you playing are in?

    What platforms are you using?

What is the download/upload speed for the host and client.

Have you checked their firewall permissions to allow Football full access?

Have you checked your region matches your platform?

Can you also check your region on your machines are correct, I.E correct time zones as that can have issues with connectivity.

    Hallo,@flame3005

Wir haben Ihre Protokolle gesendet und sie werden derzeit untersucht. Dürfen wir um weitere Informationen bitten:

    In welcher Region spielst du?

    Welche Plattformen nutzen Sie?

    my region is Germany, Bavaria

    platform is PC; Steam

    Download is 225000 kbit/s upload is 36916 kbit/s

firewall authorization has been checked and is set

my region matches stream and pc

time zone is Berlin set on PC and Steam

And everything is set up and controlled on the other PC

I just cleared Steam's cache and will test it this evening

It still crashes, but not as often and more often when switching highlights between text comment and 3d match

Hello, we have heard back from Epic Games, but unfortunately they haven't found anything from their side. In the logs it is saying that the users internet connectivity is dropping out.

Can we ask if you have tried the following? Have you done and internet speed test with the other user and could you make the host the user with the best connection?

If that fails, you could try to resetting your router and both users make sure their PC time zone is correct.
