Description of issue
Overall, the attendances in the 2nd Bundesliga seem too low at some clubs, but also too high.
At the following clubs, the attendances appear to be too low:
- Hamburger SV
- Hansa Rostock
- Kaiserslautern
- VfL Osnabrück
- Wehen Wiesbaden
At these clubs the attendances seem to be too high:
- Fortuna Düsseldorf
- Hannover 96
The "MDCC-Arena" of 1. FC Magdeburg has a designated capacity of 28,500 seats, but after some renovations it now has a theoretical capacity of 30,098, of which 28,350 can be used due to security regulations.
Hansa Rostock's "Ostseestadion" has a designated capacity of 29,000, but only uses 26,500 during normal match operations due to security regulations.
