Even when choosing a 2024 start date, the Icelandic leagues still contain the teams that were there at the start of the 2023 season. The icelandic leagues officially ended a month or so before FM24s release, but promoted teams like ÍA are still in the first division in the game, while relegated teams like ÍBV and Keflavík are still in the top division.
