Description of issue
i’m not completely certain if it’s by design and intended that the concacaf champions cup competition has three separate entries in the database:
id 1301417 - north american champions’ cup (ext)
id 145510 - north american champions league
id 51002641 - north american champions cup
while i do understand that the competition had different regulations and schedule formats in its various iterations, the current concacaf champions cup is a direct successor of the previous champions’ cup and champions league competitions.
i bring this up because the other premier continental club competitions have a single database entry each, albeit they have undergone profound structural and format changes during their history as well (see examples below):
id 127286 - afc champions league
id 127299 - caf champions league
id 102415 - conmebol copa libertadores
id 127285 - ofc champions league
id 1301394 - uefa champions league
