Description of issue
In the transfer deadline day recruitment meeting, my board recommends reducing the asking prices of Charlie Patino (set at £20m) and Eddie Nketiah (set at £56m). Nketiah has a future transfer arranged as part of a loan move to Milan, and Patino is on loan at Brugge with an optional fee of £27.5m. It probably won't be taken up, but there doesn't seem to be much point in reducing my asking price before Brugge make up their minds.
I have agreed a £40m fee for Jakob Kiwior; two bids have been accepted. My board would like me to increase his asking price 'to deter interest'.
