  • Chief Scout assigning scouts to numerous players that I didn't request

    Description of issue

    My chief scout is seemingly assigning members of my scouting team on 2-match assignments for various players within my scouting range who have never shown up in my scouting centre, nor have I ever sought to scout. I have full responsibility over assigning scouts in staff responsibilities.

    When I cancel the assignments, a day later the same players show up in scout priorities with the same 2-game scouting assignment. I saw one other reddit poster who seemingly was experiencing the same issue. My save is uploading now, if needed. In my messages, all the players that my Chief Scout just told me that he's begun scouting, all had an assignment yesterday that I cancelled, only to be restarted. This has happened at various other points in the save as well (at first I thought it was due to the fact that I mistakenly left "keep scout reports" up to date on my shortlists, but I've now noticed it occurring for players I've never even viewed, let alone shortlisted.

    No problem.

    Looking at it, it has to do with recruitment focuses; I let it run and some of the players ended up as recommendations under some of my recruitment focuses (or near matches).
