    Description of issue

    As Celtic manager, I loaned Adam Montgomery to Wycombe on a 6 month loan in the summer transfer window. As his contract was expiring at the end of the season, in December they approached to sign him permanently when it expired. On 4th Feb 2025 I got a message saying he was about to return from loan, but then the next day he joined Wycombe permanently, about 4 months before his contract expired. I did not select the option to sell him now.
