  • "Heads up about [Player]" no longer in the game?

In FM23, you will get a "heads up" when a player starts to feel they deserve a new contract. This gives you a chance to resolve it with them before they force you to promise a new contract.

In FM24, there is no "heads up" that I can see - it's just a message from a players agent and they force you to promise a new contract. If you can't offer them what they are asking for (usually between 4-10 times their current wage, in my case I've had 4 players asking for more than the board's max allowed wage) they are asking to leave.

Is there any fix for this or must you simply let these players leave? It is very frustrating no longer having a feature to prevent this.

Note: This was tested with "Level Of Discipline: 20" on both games. On FM23, the heads up usually gets them to drop the issue. On FM24, Level of Discipline doesn't seem to affect it.
