  • Intermediary Offer Glitch whilst player is in an exchange deal

A bug just happened in my save. After a season at my team, I was contemplating offloading Samuel Ballet since, despite playing an ok season as a squad player in my team he hadn't grown enough to my liking and wasn't ready to partake in my unlikely UEFA Conference League competition.

I talked to his agent to search for interest, without conclusions so I offered him to intermediaries (great mechanic btw helps a lot in securing offers). In the meantime I tried an exchange deal opportunity to exchange him with Darian Males, along with a small compensation fee.

In the meantime I received a 3 million Euros Offer from Augsburg through an intermediary that I wanted to stall on whilst waiting for the exchange deal to happen, which it eventually did. However, the offer is still there as an option (clicking on accept or refuse doesn't remove it), and I still have it now that he left my team. As you can see from the screenshots, he is listed as having a transfer bid at Young Boys too.

UPDATE: Regrettably, this glitch has proven to be game breaking, I will try reloading an older save state, I am stuck the 2nd of July and any time I click on progress the game stalls and crashes, something that never happened previously with the FM24 Beta.

I even tried manually cancelling the bid from Augsburg's side by managing them, to no avail, the file is ruined, I hope jumping back to the 13th of June through the v02 file and cancelling the bid before the player signs for Young Boys doesn't lead to the same fate, I will post another update should it not work out

UPDATE 2: Even the v02 file i corrupted and unplayable past 2nd of July, I have to try again with the v03 all the way back in 6th of June

UPDATE 3: I have simulated the v03 file, that preceded the offer in the glitch, and this one seems to work past the 2nd of July, proving how the glitch was responsible for my save files being corrupted

    Hi Zachary, I just did.

Upon moving forward I have the same problem with the v03 file, so preceeding the glitch (it worked when I simulated past July 2nd but now that I played through it I still have the same issue).

I will try holidaying through it again, hopefully it can work, but that's a whole bigger problem than a transfer glitch.

I should mention by the way that I clicked on the option to send you a report after every crash

The file I have sent is on the 30th of June if I'm not mistaken, the v02 I just uploaded was on the 14th of June I believe

Hi there, I just posted about a very similar thing in the 'Crash, Technical and Performance Issues' thread, but mine is very similar as described here and I cannot proceed with the game. An intermediary was also used, but there are three remaining active offers for a player who has already left the club. I cannot accept nor reject them (to clear them), so therefore it's game breaking as I cannot proceed with the save.

I didn't see the info about uploading whole save files to the SI cloud

I had the same issue relating to an intermediary offer remaining in my active transfers even after a player has left the club. It hasn't 'broken' the game as such, i.e I am able to continue playing but it's frustrating that even after the transfer window has closed it shows I have an outstanding bid i've not responded to. Capture1.thumb.PNG.1816326e203c6252af24ccd6b682e9e4.PNG
