  • 'Maximum contract length restricted by board' when trying to offer a new contract to a player playing for a South African Championship club

    Description of issue

    I've started a save managing Venda FC in the South African GladAfrican Championship. I've advanced through to March and I am still unable to offer a new contract to my players which goes past June 2024 i.e. the maximum length I can currently offer is now 4 months. When hovering over the contract length control it states 'Maximum contract length restricted by the board due to the clubs current stature'. This is my first time having a save in South Africa so I might be missing something but can anyone give me a reason as to why this is the case?
