  • Smarter AI not working for your Scouts/Chief sports director

    I was looking forward to this new function so that I and many others that play easy and simple now that few hours a day is our gametime could have some time. I am usually doing a realistic play where I let my staff do what the staff do - meaning my top staff handles the transfers and contracts of players and staff.

    In FM23 this was not a great function as well as in other FM version as well. Usually staff qucikly bring in europe players and don't seem to think about the league rules about squads, meaning the squad rules. Ends up with you having to free up spots because no smart AI. 

    This year we had a smart AI function - but it is not working and the staff seems to do the same thing again sadly. Hopefully it can get fixed for full release and during the Beta, so that we finally since this is the last FM-version could get some smart AI in our own staff as well! Would be thankful for the rest of the years with this last FM!

    Unfortunately, I think that we will not see a real breakthrough in this area very soon... This is a really difficult aspect of the game. But I also think that the developers first of all needs to focus on improving AI

    Thanks for looking into it - Would be really happy if this new improved AI feature also could affect your own staff and their decisions, would make it a great new final game and open up for so many new ways to play and great stories to write etc. :)
