  • Can’t call up national team players

    Description of issue

    DJed spence eligibilityWhile managing the Jamaican national team I have noticed that when calling up players who are eligible for more than two countries cannot be selected for matches again if you were to play them in a match then for whatever reason remove them from a squad e.g. they get injured so you replace them in the squad 

    the best culprit I could use as a example is Djed Spence, who can represent England, Kenya or Jamaica - at the start of my save he had yet to make his England debut so when national call ups rolled around I selected him alongside Morgan Gibbs-White and Max Aarons. After the games both Gibbs-White and Aarons became full Jamaican internationals whilst Spence only had the option as “declared” whilst still displaying eligibility for England or Kenya. In future call ups Spence will remain in the team and can continue to play games and he even won some awards relating to playing in the national team such as Young MVP while in the team. However if I remove him, I won’t be able to select him ever again . I noticed this during my previous save where Ellis Simms, Chem Campbell and Lawrence Vigouroux were also victims to the same bug as all of them can represent three different national teams

    Hi, apologies for the delayed response. is there any way i can make my file size smaller as currently it exceed the maximum threshold for file sizes to send

    Are you trying to upload the save to our Cloud system?

    The Cloud should have no upload limit on a save file.

    Hi Zach. I believe it’s just the little file attachment at the bottom of messages that I attempted to add it to. I was able to follow the instructions to access the save file we’re discussing, just not figured out how to be able to send it into this chat

     

    Edit: I believe I have figured this out and have uploaded to the cloud as - Jamaica Mzz 2026.fms. Inside i cannot remember if Spence is still in the squad, however by this point Ellis Simms had become eligible for selections and subsequently was taken off, in his bio you should be able to see he's only declared for the team and not an actual capped player despite making appearances and scoring

    Hi, we have managed to reproduce the issue internally and our investigating, but there isn't going to be any more updates to FM24 Mobile.
