    Description of issue

    Managing Derby County, and can't offer unsigned players a free trial - the option doesn't show up on the Transfer tab

     

    Not sure if this is a bug or due to Derby being under a Transfer ban

    Think this is an issue with all the EFL clubs under a transfer embargo (Swindon, Gillingham, presumably the others). All should be able to sign free agents and loans but aren’t able to. Hopefully the issue is being looked into

    At the moment there is a limitation to the types of embargos we have in game. We either have embargos where players can be signed or can't be signed. 

    We have plans to improve these for future versions to account for embargos like the ones mentioned in this thread. But these changes wont be making it in to FM22.

    Thanks for the reply. A bit frustrating but at least I can get on with my save now knowing it’s not something that’s going to be fixed
