    Description of issue

    These aren't really bugs so much as errors in how the competitions in Indonesia work, so feel free to move this post if it's in the wrong forum.

     

    League Two:

    First, as mentioned on a previous thread in this subforum, League Two's structure for the season just gone is wrong. In the 2021 season there were 4 groups of 6 teams, not 2 groups of 12, in the first phase.     However, it looks like for the 2022 season, League Two will return to something more like what is in the game – that is, 2 groups in the first phase. https://liga2-skor-id.translate.goog/pssi-pastikan-format-liga-2-musim-baru-beda-dengan-edisi-2021-01420897?_x_tr_sl=id&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp

    I'm not sure what you guys want to do about all this, but I think it's definitely worth flagging.

     

    Second, on the Rules page for the Final of League Two, it does not say that the winning team will be promoted to League One – it only says that the losing team will be, which is misleading, as they are both promoted. The code for the league works – the winning team is promoted too – but the Rules page should make that clear.

     

    Other competitions:

    The Indonesian Community Shield (known in the game as the Indonesian Super Cup) takes place between the winners of League One and the winners of the domestic Cup in game. The competition doesn't seem to have been held since 2013 (including this year). Is it still in operation? It looks to me like it isn't. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesian_Community_Shield. Perhaps it should be removed?

     

    Equally, the Indonesian President's Cup doesn't seem to be in the game, even though it is taking place this year: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Indonesia_President%27s_Cup. This may not have been foreseeable when the game was being developed last year (COVID clearly affected Indonesian football a lot), but it should be added now.

    Really sorry for the length of time for a response here, we slipped between internal and public communication.

    Our researchers for Indonesia have supplied us with the new info for the upcoming season, and we'll look to ensure it's best replicated in future games. The decision was made previously not to implement certain changes for nations during the pandemic as they were almost certainly one-off changes due to the Covid pandemic, which is likely the case here.

    I can't offer any quick fix or solution, but we'll ensure it's better replicated going forward.

    No problem - I assumed that was the reason that League 2's format is the way it is in game. Hope to see the President's Cup in FM23! This season it featured every team in League 1. Would be a shame for it to be excluded.
