Release version: Still problems with foreigners and AI registration

This is one that should be addressed in the latest build, you'll have to start a new save for the changes to come in. Please let us know if it still occurs in any new saves.

Still having the foreign players limit drop to 4 after starting a new save.. 

 

I've uploaded the save right as  I got the message. Save name Alania.fm

Hi there - I think this is a bug, but is just a display issue.  The foreign player limit in the RPL is 8 and remains at 8 for all seasons.  I think what is happening here is you are looking at the rules for next season, for a team that has been promoted from the RFD, before the promotion has actually taken place in game (i.e. before the game has moved from the 2021/22 season to the 2022/23 season)?  The foreign player limit for the RFD is 4 for all seasons.  So what you are seeing is actually the RFD rules.  Once it gets to the 2022/23 season in game (after the season update day which should be some time in late June), then the registration rules will update to correctly showing 8 foreign players for all teams in the RPL.

You're right the rules still allow for up to 8 foreign players but the display bug popped up again after I finished another season. Weird but I guess more or less not a big deal.

I was also shocked when I saw that you can only have 4 foreigners in the squad for the next season. 
It is known that the Russian Federation makes dubious decisions and even the 8 legionnaires do more 
harm to football in Russia than it does, but only 4 foreigners would be the ultimate ruin for football. 
In addition, the association tends to raise the legionnaires limit to 10. Can someone confirm that this 
is actually a display error and that 8 legionnaires can still be nominated?
