  • In administration, can't stop Assistant Manager selling player

I've started a new save with Derby County, and have set all transfer responsibilities to myself, yet the club (specifically my Asssistant Manager) is negotiating player sales.

Is this because the club is under administration and the accountants are trying to raise money to pay debts? If so why is the AM doing the negotiations?

    Cheers

While there are some mechanics in place for clubs in administration that impact the sales of players, it seems a little odd that your assistant manager is negotiating these. Can you share your save game file and our QA team can take a look into this further. A guide on how to upload your file is available here: How to upload files to us - Instructions and Notes - Sports Interactive Community (sigames.com)

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I've uploaded my save - 'Travers Wailes - Derby 1 (v02).fm' - let me know if i've done it wrong. In the save the relevant transfer is for Bobby Duncan.

Can i just ask if I'm supposed to have any control over outgoing transfers when the club is under administration? Or will clubs automatically accept any offer they receive?

    Cheers

Got the save - thank you. :)

It's not the assistant manager negotiating, it's the administrators, the AM is just notifying you as to what is going on.
