Assistant Manager leaves out key players when using "Pick Team"

Never used this feature but it isn't normal. Why AI should field unsuitable players if the suitable are available?

I've had this too - I accept that if you leave the game to your Assistant, it won't all go the way you'd have done it, but picking 1-star reserve players over world-class stars is just weird. I've found they're particularly biased towards picking your loaned players, even if they're just the ones you've loaned to be your 3rd-choice in each position.
