One of the big features of the fm23 match engine is the fact that second-line and third-line players go up to tie up when there is an empty space. It's definitely a good move, but it feels a little excessive. The player marked in red is a defensive midfielder and the role is an anchor. The picture is a counterattack situation, and you can see Timber participating in the attack even in the box. Therefore, there was no third-line or defensive midfielder outside the box to receive the ball, and the attack ended with a cross. I think left midfielder dlp and defensive midfielder A should not be in the box. A is clearly a defensive role and dlp is a player who coordinates or puts a good ball into the box, not a player who should compete in the box. Both players even have hold positions on.
In order to fill the empty space, it seems necessary to allow them to choose whether to go into the box or to adjust the degree of climb.
By 433, midfielders (both centre and defensive) seem to be moving too far forward or even into the box.
