Description of issue

In my brighton save for the past 2 seasons I have witnessed blunder after blunder after blunder with my goalkeepers. Eccentricity is low on all the keepers I have had so there is no reason for this.

The goalkeepers do not catch anything, they let the ball through their arms and legs, sometimes they just random fall over. This is a massive issue with the match engine and it is totally not realistic whatsoever. I understand keepers make mistakes but I just witnessed nick pope let 4 goals in by literally the ball slowly dribbling over his hands?

Are SI aware of these goalkeeper issues?

Hi, it is always possible for any players to make mistakes during a season, depending on circumstances, some could make more than others.

The Major Update 23.2 has addressed a number of goalkeeper-related issues so it should've reduce many unrealistic goalkeeper's mistakes.

However, if you believe you have seen to many unrealistic mistakes, we can take a look at this if you can upload the two file below to OwnCloud the following:

1. Save game just before a match

2. REC file - you can find the file at User/[Username]/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2023/matches/automatic. Please note the REC file get automatically updated after each match so you will need to copy the REC file before you start another match.
