I’m not near my computer now so I can’t try it myself but try resting only your first 11 then quick pick and see if it picks anyone from your first 11

This is Exactly what is happening.

Starting 11 rested from training, rest of the squad not rested, selection advice picks 100% of non rested players. recall all players to training, swap the entire 1st 11 and rest them from training. selection advice then picks 100% non rested players again. no players changed positions
