Description of issue
So, the game gave me a goal even though the assist provider was clearly offside. VAR did turn on for the goal but for the completely wrong situation. I provided the picture in which Romer, the assist provider, is offside after a pass from Endrick. In the continuation of the attack he passed the ball to the attacker who scored the goal. I have seen a similar situation at the start of the game in december but I chalked it off as a one time occurence or as a "realistic" referee mistake. But, I would like to see the in game VAR to consider both situation in future situations like this (the pre-assist and the actual assist as possible offside situations).
