Do you have any specific examples of players from a save file?

 

Well I’m playing as Arsenal: Charlie Patino even though he’s getting regular game time, Alex Baena, Conor Gallagher, Yunus Musah, Alex Scott, Ronnie Edwards, Moises Caicedo, Nicolo Rovella, Ramsdale, Luca Netz, Facundo Farais, Reinier, Sandry, Sivert Mannsverk, Ernest Poku, Andrey Santos, Amourricho van Axel Dongen, Zakharyan, Aimar Vicandi, Giovanni Fabbian, Soumalia Coulibaly, Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Franco Carboni, Isak Johannesson, Matheus Franca, Leon King, Yusuf Demir, Illia Zabarnyi, Luiz Junior, Valentin Barco, Muhammad Damar, Talles Magno, Andriy Lunin, Kike Salas, Alvaro Sanz, Eddie Nketiah. 

Ive tried different saves different training regimes different teams im noticing barely any improvement in players stats just their values going up. I’m not stupid I’ve been playing Football Manager since 2008. So I do know how the game works

It's been a few months now and we haven't noticed any cause for concern across all the wider FM saves.

I appreciate your initial complaint, however it's one we believe is working as intended at the moment, just have to bare in mind that potential isn't set in stone and can vary from game to game.
