  • What's the point of a Youth Intake preview when it has no link to reality?

    Description of issue

    Here is a picture of the Youth Intake preview that I got back in

    There are 5 different sections that have been given an "A" rating, but don't get too bogged down by that. Let's just look at the overall rating.

    That was the preview. 

    This is the reality.

    That's not a little difference. That's an enormous difference. What's the point in this feature, "the Youth Intake preview", if the information it contains is just completely random and has no actual link to the actual Youth Intake. That's not a feature. That's cosmetic makeup.

    To clarify, I don't mind the intakes being rubbish. I expect the intakes to be rubbish. What I mind is being told that the youth intake will be excellent when I know damn well that it won't be. 

    I've almost got a save file every month so just let me know which saves you want and I will upload them for you. If it helps you fix this problem you can have them all.

    Hi Kyle. Thanks for looking at this. 

    Today is actually Youth Intake Day #4 in 2026 so let me update you. 

    This is the preview for this season.

    I think you would agree that's quite a big difference from preview to intake. 

    I've loaded the following saves. 

    1st I have uploaded the 4 saves made on the Youth Intake itself. 

    2nd I have uploaded the 1st save made after the preview each season, (should be Jan). 

    If you need anymore, (such at the save before either the preview or the intake itself), then please feel free to ask. I am keeping monthly saves at the moment and will retain them for a while. 

    I haven't got Jan 2023, (sorry), so I have uploaded feb 2023 instead.

    Just to add to Jimbo's point above. This is an intake I was previewed and the reality. I appreciate that there can be some flexibility in that time, but to drop from a 4.5 star rated intake into a 0.5 star reality is just nonsense. Unfortunately I no longer have a save on that date, however I feel its easily replicated with intakes from season 2 onwards.
