  • Why are players developing in other clubs and not mine???

    Description of issue

    How is it possible that a player Luka Jovic who plays for me in Seria A doesn't improve for a whole season (CA remains the same) then goes to Brazil and improves A LOT in one season (roughly his CA goes around 10 points up) and he was 24-25 when he played for me and 25-26 when he played in Brazil so he is even older and he shouldn't have improved AT ALL. WHAT?!?!?!?! YOU CAN NOT TELL ME THAT A BRAZILIAN CLUB HAS BETTER FACILITIES COACHES AND A REPUTATION THAN FIORENTINA!!!!!! And this is not the first time this has happened to me, it also happened with other saves and other clubs and other players and SOME players do develop A LITTLE BIT, like GK Elia Caprile when I played with Vincenza but he is in the minority. Yes, players do develop at my club even now A LITTLE BIT but not even CLOSE as they do in other clubs. In other clubs the rate of their development (if they are young so under 21-23) is twice as much and after they reach 23-25 they don't develop at my club at all but as I said with this Luka Jovic example that at other clubs they do develop even when they are older. My training facilities are better than theirs, my club has a higher reputation, I have SUPREME coaches BEST in Seria A, I'm playing him in the same position he is best at and he trains at (STC) and he was playing regularly almost every game. I have even simulated a game where I bought a young wonderkid and put him in my team for 2 years and then went back to the beginning of the game (the first save) and then did not buy him, left him in his club, simulated again for 2 years and he developed by more than 20 CA IN TWO YEARS than he did in my club in the SAME save! We are not talking small differences here, this is a HUGE difference and totally changes the game. Now because my clubs are bad at developing players am I supposed to only buy 27 years old for 200 million and play the game like I'm some Saudi prince that just buys players??????? My favorite part of the game is finding young talent and helping it flourish but Im being sabotaged by this......................

    I need you Sports Interactive to EITHER fix this issue or tell me what am I doing wrong and what I should be doing for players to develop better as they do in other clubs. What is SAN (club in Brazil) doing that I'm not?

    If you need more screenshots or saves, pls do ask I didn't know what to upload so I just did Luka Jovic ss every year. Thank you in advance.

    I have written a long rant in other sub-forum. SI about game and feedback given by the game. I completely agree with you. Is it bug or not? Hard to tell to be honest, because game does not communicate with player properly on so many levels. After over 900h in game (FM22 and FM23) i am still not sure if that is me influencing anything (training-wise) or is it just happening by itself. Well i am not going to repeat myself, thou will add link to my previous post.

    Hi! Thank you for reaching out. I have uploaded the save from date in the third screenshot so you can see the progression of the player for one year at Fiorentina and one at SAN. The file name is "Amet Hyst - Fiorentina2.fm". Let me know if you need anything else, some more info or files.
