Description of issue
I've been getting "Steam Cloud Sync Error" for a month or so now, but only with FM23. Other games including older FMs still function fine.
I've recently purchased a Steam Deck (this week) and because of this error my saves are not synced to the cloud, and I can't play my games across devices.
I've tried:
- Removing all cloud saves, clearing steam download cache, re-saving games as cloud saves
- Clearing out all cloud saves for previous FM games
- Verifying game cache
- Turning Cloud saves off and on in steam settings
- Switching to Steam Beta
- Ran Steam as admin
- Repair Steam Library Folders
- Uninstalling and Reinstalling FM23
Only the one save file is in "C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023\cloud\games", well under 1GB.
When I check the "cloud_log.txt" file, the only error appears to be "...Upload Invalid Parameter for file...."
If I save a game on another machine to the cloud (such as my new Steam Deck), they appear under "Cloud" saves in-game on my desktop fine, I just can't seemingly upload any saves.
Any help would be appreciated.
