I'm using a custom skin that makes the menu bar a bit darker so that the graphics in the back don't make the text difficult to read, but that's it as far as I can tell. That wouldn't change the data point of 100% to a different number, would it?

A custom skin changes many things that the creator wants to change or leave out . Dont think the 100% would change but then who knows what he did . Things that are missing might be a fint or colour issue or left out all together . Thats the chance you take using a 3rd party skin . Try going back to the basic skin and see if it changes anything
