Description of issue
Disappointed to see this is still an issue from previous editions of FM.
As you can see below, if you start a new save in the middle of the season, big clubs like Juve will have inexplicably not registered key players, like Kostic and Paredes. Last year it was McKennie who would be unregistered for no reason.
If you start the save during the first transfer window and then holiday ahead manually, those players are registered by the AI, even though nothing has really changed. (Not sure why Pinsoglio is unregistered, as he's needed to fulfill the club-trained quota, but that's less absurd.)
So if I want to start a save around present day, I instead have to start my save 3-4 months earlier with the first transfer window disabled and then waste an hour or whatever it is to holiday ahead to preserve some realism.
Why is this happening? Why does the AI suddenly not know how registration works if you start mid-season?
