  • All boards expect to challenge for Welsh Cup, when knocked out called for board meeting

    I started as unemployed, no coaching badges and Sunday League experience and got the Haverfordwest job on the 2nd January 2023. The board expected me to 'challenge' for the welsh cup with a desired rating. After losing in the welsh cup on the 14th January 2023, the board called a meeting where they threatened to sack me. This is despite the board saying in the feedback section that they were disappointed but understand the team had a difficult draw.

    This seems to be an issue with other clubs as well, as when I applied (and got) the Flint Town job, the board expects to win the Welsh Cup. Is this a bug? Seems a bit harsh to be threatened with the sack after 13 days in the job.
