  • Board disappointed because team is supposedly not on course to finish mid table in "Campeonato Brasileiro Série C", even though we're in 3rd place

    Started an unemployed career and in got the first in a Campeonato Brasileiro Série C team. In the interview, they originally proposed the goal of avoid relegation, and I proposed we go for a mid table finish instead, which they accepted.

    Now, 11 rounds into the league (out of 19 rounds total), and I'm in 3rd place out of 20 teams, having stayed in the upper half of the table the whole competition.

    However, board is disappointed saying that I'm not on course to finish mid table, and only on course to avoid the relegation battle. They have been disappointed on this point for the whole competition until now.
