Can't Select B Team Manager to Take Control of Matches

Yes, it usually appears when I fire all of my B team staff and then hire a coach before the manager. The coach will be put in charge of friendly matches and there is no option to change it.

Regardless, I don't ever have the option to delegate the management of B-team friendly matches to any member of the staff, it is always locked in.
