  • Moved to a New Club & Some Players No Longer Trust Me Because of Previous Manager?

    I am in December 2025 of my save and took a post at Milan the previous month. I just confronted the 2nd angry player over lack of playing time. I told him I would give him the playing time he wanted but, like the previous player, he got angry and said he could no longer trust me because of "broken promises to other players". 

     

    What broken promises? The only promise I have made at Milan is to the Chairman to retain the GM.

    I just arrived at the club. The players appear unhappy with ME for actions of the previous sacked manager (Tuchel).

    This has to be a bug. I uploaded the save right when I took over the club before any interactions with the players:

    Hello, we've taken a look at this. It seems the players are unhappy in general because they want more playing time, they're making you, the new manager aware of this.

    They're not unhappy at you specifically, but just because a new manager has come in doesn't mean they're happy with their playing time. If you provide them with sufficient minutes their unhappiness will drop.

    Alright thanks. Unfortunately player conversations are no longer saved, otherwise I would have uploaded them. I get that players are unhappy with playing time, but for them to tell me they can't trust me anymore because of what I did to their teammates after I promise to give it them makes no sense since I don't have a history with them.
