  • Player transfer listed: wants to have a conversation about "considering options" at end of contract.

I have transfer listed several players who then later require I have a conversation with them about how they are going to "explore their options" at the end of their contract.

It seems unnecessary for me to have that conversation with them.  It's not a huge deal to have the conversation.  All I have to do is have the conversation and then they're "so happy I agreed to them exploring their options".  But it's a weird/immersion killing dialogue to be required to have with many of the player I list.  I feel like even one of the players who already had a loan/transfer offer earlier this season that I'd accepted/club had agreed to still wanted to have this conversation string with me.  Like dude, you're leaving the club and the club agreed to it, we're aware that either there is an issue or might be at some point after the loan is done/you're transferred & we don't care: you're transfer listed bud & officially surplus to requirements, we either don't need to talk about this or we will later.

In short: players who are a) listed for transfer, b) have been offered to clubs, c) are on the "unwanted list" AND d) have also been marked as "surplus to requirements" playing time (all 4 of which are the case with several of the players I'm talking about): should not need to have a dialogue prompt with me about whether or not I care if they "think about" not staying at the club at the end of their contract 6 months from the prompt window/0-3 months after I've listed them.  I would think that being in just one of those 4 categories would be enough to stop that conversation string from happening.
