  • Player unhappy to be offered to clubs can always be bypassed by negotiating "fair price" (which seems unrelated to main topic of discussion and hacky)

    Description of issue

    Not sure if this works as intended, I've noticed the same behaviour consistently in FM22, and it looks like this carried over to the new version.. Here are the steps to reproduce:

    • go to offer out any player
    • [prerequisite] the agent is suggesting this could make the player unhappy
    • enter negotiations to convince the player
    • pick any option, doesn't make a difference here as long as it won't convince the player
    • as the next option, choose "can we negotiate"
    • now the topic is changed to choosing a "fair price" for the player (who doesn't want to get offered to other clubs in the first place)

    When the price is accepted, offering out the player doesn't make him unhappy from my experience. Seems a cheeky way to bypass this mechanism and offer out players without actually convincing them it's a good idea..

    Do you have an example from your save game? This would help greatly for our team to try and reproduce the issue.

    If so, can you upload the save game to OwnCloud and let us know the name of the save, please?

    After "Persuade to Leave" I just chose the first option (don't think it makes any difference as long as it doesn't convince him):

    "Can we possibly negotiate it a little more" - jumps to fair price negotiations, changing the topic:

    End result after a 100M price was accepted:

    Now I can offer the player and don't make him angry:

    And after the initial offer is sent, now he becomes very interested in being offered out:

    This is really quite easy to reproduce, but I've created a new save game with Arsenal:  

    if you dont want to leave lets negotiate a fair price.fm

    Went to offer Saka out to other clubs, screenshots above should explain the issue well
