Player wants transfer to "return home" to a country they've never lived in

Hi, on my save David McGoldrick wants a transfer to "return to play closer to home" to Ireland despite him being born in England and living in England his entire life. I guess this is based on nationality but it looks a bit odd on players such as him who are eligible to play for a nation, here Ireland, through having a grandparent being born there rather than actually being from there themselves. May not be a new thing but it looked a bit odd!

Haha and then this, I assume this is trouble settling in England?

Experienced the same thing with Geoffrey Kondogbia in FM22. He wanted to go Central African Republic. He was neither born there or played for a club there.  However, he plays for that national team. At the end, he couldn't find a club, then retired at the age of only 32.
