  • Cannot start game on Steam Deck - Denuvo unable to authenticate new devices

    This issue started happening last night, I was playing the game for around an hour and was experiencing crashes so I decided to restart my steam deck. Since that restart I’ve been unable to play the game due to an initial error which reads:

    Sorry, something went wrong. For solutions please visit:

    https://support.codefusion.technology/fm23_9anim230r/7e=8850000661-english

    Clicking that link brings me to another page which says:

    You can no longer authenticate on new devices

    Currently your game purchase cannot be re-validated successfully, please wait 24 hours and try again.

    This will probably work fine after the 24hours - but it’s just weird that this is happening to me with a game I purchased on steam and have used on one device… something is clearly wrong as this is the first time I’ve seen this
