Scouting assignments never return any results ever no matter what

The game have been on the market for 4 mounth with a headline feature in regards to scouting, and yet it is the worse scouting set up in years.

 

Seems like this should not have been a presented as a new and approve feature, since it so buggy and not working.

 

What are the plans for this? - will it be fixed, or will we have to buy FM 24 to see if it is fixed by then ?

Yeah, I've now had probably 20 scouting assignments in a row now with no results...

Hello, @Weston looking at your save, you are asking for pretty high current and potential ability that fits your specific tactic.

All within the very limited confines of your scouting package which is the surrounding divisions.

Maybe in that current save I tried something like that but 99% of the ones I'm doing, unless I'm mistaken, are 3.5* any position, transfer or loan. In my scouting reports I receive countless players that fit these exact specifications, they're just separate from my assignment, which comes up empty. Why is the assignment unable to find these free agents but my scouts are somehow able to find them separately through another channel? It doesn't make sense.
