Hi, I got curious about Solomon Islands star striker Raphael Lea'i. I expected that I wouldn't be able to bring him to my team (Notts County) because of work permit issues, but what I didn't expect was for him to just straight up refuse to negotiate with me
As I said, he is earning absolutely no money on his amateur contract in Solomon Islands so this surprised me. He is also not a new signing at his club Henderson Eels; he's been there since 2019. There is also no other clubs interested in his service, either at our level or above. Surely if a professional 5th tier club in England wanted to talk to this guy he would be super keen on the move? I can't find a logical reason why he won't enter negotiations with us so it seems like a bug to me. Any ideas if there's a good explanation as to why he won't negotiate?
to reproduce issue just try signing Lea'i with Notts County (or one of the other professional Vanarama National League sides) in the first transfer window
