  • Cannot trigger the contract extension by club

    As is commonly known, Ronaldo has a one year option in his current contract and the game seems to recognize that.

    But at least in my save the "trigger extension" option is not available in Contract-menu. For all the other players in Man Utd with contract options you're able to normally trigger the extension.

    Let me know if you need a save, I'd assume this is a databug not tied to my save game.

    Hello, appreciate you raising this.  Turns out this is actually blocked by the board who prevent any contracts over a year for players over age of 32. We can review making this clearer to the user. The extension should become available towards the end of his contract. Thank you.

    Okay at least that makes sense, obviously I'm quite sure not to trigger the extension but considered it weird from menu perspective.

    I'll update the thread if I'm still unable to do it after the new year.
