Content - I negotiated a new contract with a player whose contract would have run out at the end of the season. I set the starting point of the new contract to the end of the season. The player agrees to the contract, still, after some time the message appears that the player is in their last year of contract and is considering their options.
Steps to Reproduce -
- Start the game
- Look for a player in your squad in their last year of contract
- Offer them a new contract which starts at the end of the season
- Proceed in the game
- Eventually, a message will appear in the news center, saying that the player is considering their options
