  • Loan - change of preferred position after parent club manager change

    Loaned Dylan Stephenson from Newcastle. His preferred position was AMC - Shadow Striker. To start with i used him as him AML and AMR, but after the complaint Eddie about not playing him according to loan agreement specifying his preferred position / role, when i played him AMC - SS, the issue was resolved.

    I made a point of playing Dylan in his preferred AMC-SS role regularly to keep Newcastle happy.

    Eddie Howe was sacked and then Rafa Benitez replaced him.

    Soon after i received complaint from Rafa about me not playing him in his preferred position. He now has a AMR - Shadow Striker as his preferred position/role which is a combo which doesn't exist.

     

    Not 100% if the manager change triggered the change but its the only notable difference.

    Had a look at the messages. I received a complaint from Rafa on 27th November based on AMC - Shadow Striker, then three days later he complains again for lack of AMR game time. I believe the change in preferred position/role takes place between the messages
