No way to have player join at end of season

Hi, it looks like that player is out of contract so can't do loan deals/have a contract start at the end of the contract.

There are a lot of players signed to non-contracts but there should be other options other than just signing them right now. In real life there is no reason why I couldn't approach him with an offer that begins at the end of the season - that's what Bosmans are, which happen all the time. There should be a way to arrange this in-game without having to use the editor.
